Thank you for shopping with Gala Plumes. This Shipping Policy explains our order processing times, shipping methods, estimated delivery times, costs, tracking, duties, and delivery responsibilities.
Order Processing
Please allow up to 2 business days for your order to be processed and dispatched unless otherwise stated on the product page.
Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays.
Orders placed after 1:00 PM WST on Friday will be processed from the following Monday. This also applies to Express and International orders.
Once an order has been placed, we may be unable to change or cancel it. Please review your products, delivery address, and contact details carefully before completing checkout.

Estimated Delivery Times
All delivery timeframes are estimates only and begin after your order has been processed and dispatched.
Delivery may take longer during:
- Weekends and public holidays.
- Promotional periods and sales events.
- Customs processing.
- Carrier disruptions.
- Severe weather or other circumstances outside our control.
Gala Plumes cannot be held responsible for reasonable or unavoidable delays caused by postal carriers, customs authorities, or other circumstances beyond our control.
United States Shipping
Orders to the United States are shipped via Australia Post with tracking.
Estimated standard delivery time is 8–12 business days after dispatch. Delivery times may vary depending on the destination and customs processing.
United States Standard Shipping Rates
- Orders under $150: $15 standard shipping.
- Orders of $150 or more: $6 standard shipping.
- Orders of $500 or more: Free standard shipping.
Shipping rates may change during promotional periods and will always be displayed at checkout before payment.
United States Duties And Taxes
Applicable import duties and taxes are calculated and collected at checkout.
Import duties are currently calculated at 10% where applicable. The final amount displayed at checkout will apply to your order.
United States orders are shipped Delivered Duty Paid (DDP). This means applicable duties collected by us are paid before delivery, and customers should not receive additional duty charges when the parcel arrives.
Government duties and import regulations may change. The amount shown at checkout takes precedence over estimates stated in this policy.
International Shipping
Orders to countries outside the United States are shipped using a carrier selected according to the destination, available services, and parcel requirements.
Tracking is included where available.
Please allow up to 2 business days for order processing before dispatch. International delivery times vary depending on:

- Customs processing.
- Local postal services.
- Public holidays and seasonal demand.
The available shipping service, price, and estimated timeframe will be displayed at checkout.
International Duties And Taxes
For destinations where duties and taxes are not collected at checkout, customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes, customs charges, or handling fees imposed by local authorities.
Gala Plumes does not control these charges and cannot predict their final amount.
If a parcel is refused because duties or taxes have not been paid, any return shipping fees, customs charges, or carrier costs may be deducted from an eligible refund where permitted by law.
Order Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, tracking information will be sent to the email address provided at checkout.
Tracking information may take some time to become active after the parcel has been collected by the carrier.
Please check that your email address is correct before placing your order.
Delivery Addresses
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
Gala Plumes is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or lost parcels caused by an incorrect or incomplete address supplied at checkout.
If you notice an address error, contact us immediately at galaplumes@galaplumes.com. We cannot guarantee that the address can be changed after an order has been placed or dispatched.
Delayed Parcels
If your parcel has not arrived within the estimated delivery period, please check the tracking information first.
Tracking may pause while a parcel is in transit between countries or awaiting customs clearance.
If tracking has not updated for an extended period, contact us at galaplumes@galaplumes.com and include your order number.
Lost Or Damaged Parcels
If your parcel appears to be lost or arrives damaged, contact us as soon as possible with:
- Your order number.
- Photographs of the parcel and product, where applicable.
- A description of the issue.
- Any relevant tracking information.
Please retain all packaging until the matter has been reviewed, as the shipping carrier may require photographs or other evidence.
We will work with the carrier to investigate the issue and provide an appropriate solution in accordance with applicable consumer law.
